Endangered advisory canceled after elderly Osage Beach woman found

The Osage Beach Police Department has canceled this Endangered Silver Advisory for Joyce Dean Leathers. The department revealed that she had been located and is safe.

Authorities have issued an Endangered Silver Advisory for a woman who is missing after leaving her Osage Beach residence Monday night.

The whereabouts of Joyce Dean Leathers, 84, who suffers from dementia, is unknown, according to the advisory issued by the Osage Beach Police Department.

She is described as a white female, 5-foot-2 tall, weighing 125 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes, who was last seen wearing a light blue top, capri jeans and sandals or house slippers. She has small wounds on both calves. 

Police report she left her residence on foot between the hours of 11 p.m. Monday and 4:40 am Tuesday, and has not returned.

Anyone seeing the endangered missing person, or anyone having any information related to the incident, is asked to dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Osage Beach Police Department at 573-302-2010.
