With Veterans Day on Nov. 11, the Prairie Home school will host a celebration honoring local veterans.
It will start with a reception at 1:30 p.m. in the cafeteria, followed by an assembly at 2:20 p.m. in the gymnasium with guest speaker Stan Mehrhoff.
If there are any pictures of veterans in residents' families that residents would like to share, please have them to the school office by Thursday.
