The Moniteau County Fair is officially underway; the week of events kicked off Saturday with the Moniteau County Fair parade. The Pinto Pride Marching Band led the way as the parade began.
Reigning Miss Moniteau County Scholarship Contest winner Morgan Hineman was among those participating in the parade. The reigning California Area Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year, Clenin Farm Supply, was among those driving along the route.
Other parade participants included ATVs zipping down the street toward the fairgrounds, and a horse-drawn carriage and horseback riders brought up the rear at of the procession.
