Pintos edge Osage in April 10 match

California nipped Tri-County Conference foe Osage by a single stroke in a home meet Monday, April 10 at California County Club. The Pintos won 180 to 181.

Dylan Kramel led the Pintos with a 43 while Liam Schatzer and Liam Glenn were right behind with 44 and 45, respectively. Kale McAdams rounded out the varsity scorers with a 48 while Matt Hurt carded a 51.

Osage's Jacob Krantz won medalist honors with a 41.

In JV action, Harrison Green led the way with a 43, while Kyle Kirksey and Chris Cassil came in at 47 and 49, respectively. Jordan Bondurant carded a 54 and Marcus Imhoff fired a 55. Elsewhere for JV, Chatman Pardoe finished with a 60, Kueffer Koestner totaled a 64 and Trystan Hees shot a 66.

Three days after topping Osage, the Indians got their revenge as they won a quad at Osage National over the Pintos, Linn and Fulton. Osage won with a team score of 178 to just edge California's score of 181. Linn took third with a 192 while Fulton finished with a 206.

Schatzer carded a 42 to lead the Pintos and take medalist honors. Kramel and McAdams both came in at 45, while Hurt and Glenn each fired a 49.

In the JV match, California's team scored of 208 was well behind the 176 of Osage. Cassil led the way with a 50, while Bondurant was just behind with a 51. Kirksey shot a 53, Imhoff fired a 54 and Green carded a 56.
