JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - At the boys Class 3 cross country state meet Nov. 3 at Oak Hills Golf Center, California's Caden Kirksey finished in 30th place with a time of 17:39.65.

Festus High School finished in first place with 43 points, Bolivar High School was second with 71 points, and Smithville High School was in third place with 100 points.

For Russellville, at the girls Class 1 State Meet, Lindsey Brandt finished in 41st place with a time of 23:57.07. Olivia Barnett finished in 43rd place with a time of 24:06.36, Natalie Kirchner finished in 139th place with a time of 27:56.78, Makenzie Schwartz finished in 143rd place with 28:45.89, and Erica Schweer finished in 149th place with a time of 29:49.47.

The team finished in 14th place with 298 points. Lutheran (Kansas City) High School finished in first place with 60 points, Blue Eye High School was second with 73 points and West Platte High School was third with 92 points.

For the Russellville boys in the Class 1 State Meet, Campbell Nichols finished in 24th place with a time of 18:23.57. Arjay Wilson finished in 40th place with a time of 19:00.77, Ethan Huff finished in 47th place with a time of 19:07.91, Jared Shirley finished in 105th place with a time of 20:09.02, Isiah Kauffman finished in 143rd place with a time of 21:18.09, Roby Mahmert finished in 166th place with a time of 22:13.91 and Simon Hartman finished in 173rd place with a time of 23:12.39.

The team finished in sixth place with 175 points. Lutheran (Kansas City) High School finished in first place with 86 points, Oak Ridge High School finished in second place with 102 points and Liberal High School finished in third place with 106 points.
