ELDON — For the first time in more than 10 years, the DIRTcar Super Late Models will be making a stop at Lake Ozark Speedway.

The event will be held today. Pit gates will open at 3 p.m., with the grandstands opening at 5 p.m. Hot laps will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by qualifying at 7 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets will be available at the gate.

The series made its last Summer Nationals visit in 2008, with Billy Moyer winning that race. Moyer, the all-time wins leader on the Summer Nationals tour with 100 victories, is scheduled to race today.

Some Missouri locals — former Lucas Oil MLRA champion and five-time MARS Racing Series champion Tony Jackson Jr. of Lebanon, 2019 Lucas Oil MLRA champ and current MLRA points leader Will Vaught from Crane, and 19-year old Kaeden Cornell from Willard.

In addition to the Super Late Models, the Bassingbob.com USRA B-Mods and Surdyke Yamaha & Marina Pure Stocks will also be in action.
