California football players interacted with fans at the team's media night Aug. 16. 

Fireworks lit up the sky as the team took the field during the night's event. Players signed autographs and took photos with fans.

The Pintos' season kicks off at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30 against Lighthouse Christian Academy at home. The team's Jamboree is scheduled for 7 p.m. this Friday, Aug. 23.
