The Russellville Indians track and field team competed in its second summer meet July 17.
The girls team finished in seventh place out of 42 teams with a score of 28.50. Father Tolton finished in first place with a score of 40. On the boys' side, Russellville finished in a four-way tie for 20th place out of 40 teams. The Indians tied Owensville, Fatima and Glendale with 11 points. Hickman finished in first place in the meet with 58 points.

Jamestown was also at the meet, and the girls team finished in a four-way tie for 13th place with a score of 20. Jamestown tied with Branson, Cape Notre Dame and Odessa. The Jamestown boys team finished in 27th place with a score of 9.5.

The California Pintos boys track team, which also competed, finished in a tie for 34th place with Macon with a score of 5.
