The California Pintos wrestling team went 1-2 on Feb. 2 during its quad meet at home against Camdenton, North Callaway and South Callaway.
The Pintos defeated South Callaway 30-12. In that matchup, the team had wins by Layne Tiberghein, Kolten Fulks, Tyler Patterson, Alexis Anguiano and DJ Schneider.
California lost to Camdenton 63-6. In that matchup, the team had wins by Jerron Burns and Anguiano, who won by a pin.
The Pintos lost to North Callaway in a slightly closer contest 60-24. In that matchup, the team had wins by Burns, Anguiano, Patterson - who won by a pin - and Schneider.
The team's next meet is set for Feb. 13 in district competition at Versailles.
