The California Pintos girls basketball team reflected on the past season March 17 during the team's banquet.

The Lady Pintos finished the season with a record of 13-10 overall and went 4-3 in the Tri-County Conference. California's season ended with a 48-39 loss to Southern Boone in overtime in the semifinal round of the Class 4 District 8 Tournament.

The team finished in first place at the California Tournament for the second year in a row; Pintos head coach Bobby Sangster said it was the first time the girls team has won the school tournament two years straight.

Multiple team awards were given out at the banquet. The winner of the Most Outstanding Offensive Performer was Tristan Porter, the winner of the Most Outstanding Defensive Performer was Rylee Hees, the winner of the Most Improved award was Lilli Eichelberger, and the winner of the Inspiration award was Lauren Hill.
