Michael D. Kendrick

Michael D. Kendrick, 42, of Bunceton, Mo., passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019.He was born on October 11, 1977 in Jefferson City, Mo., the son of Albert Kendrick and Judy (Williams) Kendrick, both of whom survive in California, Mo.Michael was a graduate of Prairie Home High School in 1996 where he also played basketball.He was united in marriage on November 2, 2002 at the Methodist Church in Tipton, Mo. to Melissa (Barbour) Kendrick, who survives of the home.Michael was baptized at the Syracuse Baptist Church.He worked for MODOT as a highway maintenance worker.Michael enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding four wheelers, hanging out with his sons, friends, and family.Survivors include two sons: Clayton Kendrick and Wyatt Kendrick, of the home; two sisters: Sharon Kendrick of California, Mo. and Michelle Kendrick of Clarksburg, Mo.; four nieces: Kaitlin Kendrick, Sidney Davis, Taylor Williams, Shelby Williams; three nephews: Casey Williams, Gavin Barbour, Bentley Barbour; and mother and father in-law: Russ and Sharon Barbour of Tipton, Mo.Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at the Main Street Baptist Church, California, with Larry Marriott officiating. Burial was at Hickman Cemetery.Memorials are suggested to the Michael Kendrick Children Education Fund, c/o the funeral home.Arrangements were under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, 100 S. Oak, California, MO.
