Bonnie Fay Bolinger

BOLINGERBonnie Fay Bolinger, 89, a lifelong resident of California, Mo., departed this life Monday, October 21, 2019, surrounded by family in the comfort of her home.She was born December 31, 1929 in Old Linn Creek, the daughter of John and Ruth (Francis) Crane, both of whom preceded her in death.Bonnie was a 1948 graduate of California High School.She was united in marriage on May 1, 1948 in Kansas City, Mo. to Donald Bolinger, who pre-ceded her in death on May 4, 2011. Throughout their lives together they raised six children, showed Tennessee Walking horses, and owned and operated Bolinger Farms and Versailles Live-stock Auction. She was a member of Flag Springs Baptist Church where she taught both Sunday school, GA's and bible school, as well as a beloved member of the local community. She loved her dog Penny and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmoth-er, who enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, quilting, and crocheting.Bonnie is survived by two sons, Kent Bolinger and wife Louisa, and Greg Bolinger and wife Jeanne; four daughters Connie Boling-er, Wanda Skinner and husband Rich, Vickie Miller, and Margie Bolinger; 13 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Danny Miller.Funeral services were held Friday, October 25, 2019 at Flag Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Chapman officiating.
