Travis Dean Stinson

Travis Dean Stinson, 46, of California, Mo., passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at the Spring Valley Nursing and Rehab Facility in Springfield, Mo. Travis was born on July 9, 1973, the son of Lowell Dean Stinson and Mary Jane (Wilkerson) Stinson, both of whom preceded him in death. He was a graduate of California R-1 High School. Travis loved dirt track racing, especially XX Speedway, and was their biggest fan. He also enjoyed dirt bike and four wheeler racing, spending time with his family and friends, and he absolutely loved his dogs, Zeba and Bo. Survivors include one brother: Dean Stinson (Pat) of Tipton, Mo.; one sister: Linda Brooks (Gene) of Tipton, Mo.; one niece: Melissa Weis of California, Mo.; two nephews: Kevin Stinson of Norfolk, Va. and Shannon Trivitt of Honolulu, Hawaii; special friends: Amanda Ball, Scott Stinson, and Lily Stinson of Clarksburg, Mo., Chris (Cindy) and Braeden Pearson of California, Mo., Lindsey, Brennen Stinson of Russellville, Mo. He was preceded in death by one nephew, Russell Trivitt. Inurnment with friends and family at Hickman Cemetery will be held at a later date.
