Martha Lee "Meme" Snyder, of High Point, died Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at her daughter's home in St. Peters. She was born September 17, 1934, in Morgan County near Versailles to Glenn and Ethyl Baquet. On July 10, 1953, she married M.E. "Bill" Phillips, which ended in divorce in 1974. She married Harry Snyder on October 2, 1984, who preceded her in death on February 13, 2009. Mrs. Snyder was a resident of High Point area most of her married life. She was a member of High Point Baptist Church. She enjoyed her family, kids, and grandkids. She worked in the insurance business for many years and then at Burgers Smokehouse for 35 years. She is survived by one son, Mike Phillips of Olathe, Kan.; two daughters, Beverly Swords of Jefferson City and Marsha McHugh (Pat) of Saint Peters; two step-daughters, Vicki Carrillo (Roc Mause) of Lee's Summit and Debra Williams (Gregory) of, Sunrise Beach; grandkids, Brandon Swords, Luke and Nic Phillips, Ian and Aidan McHugh, Zane Williams and Chelsea Brunzie; great-grandkids, Ronan and Brennan Williams, Jacksen McGirl, Adalyn Phillips, Paige Davis and Reese and Lola Brunzie; and one brother, Loren Baquet. Martha was also preceded in death by her grandson, Clayton Phillips on February 11, 2020. Private family graveside service will be held at the High Point Cemetery with Rev. Heber Mena officiating.
