Ralph Reimler

Ralph Reimler, age 86, of Jamestown, Mo., passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. He was born on August 9, 1934, in Lupus, Missouri, the son of Charles and Mary (Schaffer) Reimler. He graduated from Jamestown High School in 1952 and served in the Army from 1957-1959. Ralph was married to Connie Vaughan on June 18, 1957, in Jamestown, Mo. Ralph loved his time spent as a Supervisor for MODOT, where he retired in June of 1992. He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Church Jamestown. Ralph enjoyed mowing grass, hunting of all kinds - especially coyote hunting with his dogs, playing cards, and spending time with his family. He served his community in many ways and never asked for anything in return. He mowed grass and plowed snow in several areas of town and opened the coffee shop each morning, among numerous other things. Ralph is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Reimler (Marsha) of Lone Elm and Robbie Reimler (Kate) of Jamestown; two sisters-in-law, Janet Reimler and Lydia Reimler; three granddaughters, Kelsey Reimler, Morgan Reimler, and Paige Fain (Mason); one grandson, Zach Reimler; two great-grandsons, Myles and Lincoln Fain; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary; wife, Connie; half-sister, Lily; and brothers, George, William, Robert, and Frank. Funeral Services were held Monday, December 7, 2020, at Windmill Ridge Funeral Service with Rev. Steve Watson and Rev. Russell Cobb officiating. Interment followed at St. Paul's Evangelical Cemetery.
