Betty Hohman, 70, of Holts Summit, Mo., passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020, at SSM Health - St. Mary's Hospital. She was born March 2, 1950, in Latham, Missouri, the daughter of Horace and Ida Davenport. She attended Latham School. Betty worked for over 20 years at factories - Stride-Rite, Jacket Factory, Browns and Florsheim. She mostly loved working for Heilig Meyer and the great people at JC Mattress Factory for over 15 years. She loved her home, all her family and friends. Betty was married to Clarence Hohman Jr., on June 26, 1998, at Jefferson City, Mo. She loved her dogs Bo Bo and Baba. She was known for her egg noodles and peach cobbler. Betty is survived by husband, Clarence Hohman Jr., of the home: stepsons, Chris and Justin Hohman; brothers, Charles "Buddy" McGinnis, Harold, Phillip, Randy, Mickey, Roy and Donald Davenport; sisters, Josie Beck and Patsy Kremer; grandson, Blake Hohman; granddaughter, Lily Hohlman; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with her parents, Betty Sue was preceded in death by brothers, Derald, Ray, Ross, Russell, Bill, Kenneth Davenport, and Larry Richardson, sisters, Goldie Davenport, Margaret Willis, Lucy McGinnis, and Sally Dorsey. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2020, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Windmill Ridge Funeral service with funeral Service following a 12:00 p.m., with Rev. Don Willis officiating. The funeral service will be live streamed at www.windmillridgefuneralservice.com/obituaries/Betty-Hohman/webpage. Interment will follow at California City Cemetery.
