Margaret "Peggy" Ackley, 72, of California, Mo., passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020, at the Adams Street Place in Jefferson City, Mo. She was born November 21, 1948, in Dublin, Ga., the daughter of John Bush and Florence Hazel (Chandler) Bush, both of whom preceded her in death. She was first married to William Alfred Foxworthy and later to John Thomas Ackley, both of whom preceded her in death. Peggy held many different occupations throughout her life but last worked at the Nic-Nac Café in California. She loved Proctor Park, being outside, fishing, playing cards and being with family and grandchildren. Survivors include: four sons, William Alfred Foxworthy (Vickie Fowler) of High Point, Gary Allen Foxworthy (Sheila Young) of Greeley, Colo., Mark Ray Foxworthy (Cheryl) of Eldon, Mo. and Michael Dale Foxworthy (Tonya) of California, Mo.; two daughters, Kimberly Sue Sanders (Vincent) of Platte City, Mo. and Sarah Dawn Ackley (Andrew White) of Jefferson City, Mo.; one brother, John Bush of Kansas City, Kan.; two sisters, Martha Foxworthy of High Point, Mo. and Mary Kay Blair of Mosby, Mo.; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Samuel Bush and Larry Jackson. Private Family Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home due to the current Covid-19 Pandemic. Inurnment will be at the Green Grove Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California, Mo.
