Escher Smith

Esther Smith, 66, of California, Mo., passed away on December 11, 2020, at Research Hospital in Kansas City. She was born December 24, 1953, in California, Mo., the daughter of Leonard and Wanda Rohrbach, both of whom preceded her in death. Esther was a caregiver for Four Seasons Home Health. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Esther was a KC Chief's fan, and enjoyed watching game shows. Esther is survived by her children, Fred L. Smith, Dinah S. Gutierrez; siblings, Ruth, Mary and Joe Rohrbach, Rhoda Payne, Martha, James, and Lydia Rohrbach; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her son, Emmett Everett Anderson, on December 1, 2020; and a brother, Terry Bledsoe, Celebration of Life for Esther and Emmett will be held at a later date.
