Gladys Marie Stauffer

Mrs. Gladys Marie Stauffer, age 99, California, died Saturday, December 19, 2020, at the California Care Center. She was born April 30, 1921, the daughter of Louis H. and Mary Elsie Geiger Roedel. She was married to Evis Austin Stauffer on June 28, 1942, in Jamestown, Missouri. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a homemaker and a member of The United Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters: Joan Stauffer, Jefferson City, and Jane (Mike) Robertson, California; two sons: Stephen Stauffer and Stuart Stauffer, both of California; six grandchildren: Travis Stauffer (Liz), Staci (Mike) Nichols, Drew (Lisa) Robertson, Ross (Kim) Robertson, Seth (Lyndsey) Stauffer, all of California, and Scott (Jordon) Robertson, Lake Ozark; seven great-grandchildren: Alissa, Kaitlyn, Evis, and Argo Stauffer; Brooks Nichols; Rylan, Brenyn, Max, Devyn, Kamryn, and Annie Robertson; and one great-great-grandson, Evander Kendrick. Private family graveside services will be held at the California Evangelical Cemetery with Rev. Russell Cobb officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to charity of donor's choice.
