Rose Louise Weingartner

Rose Louise Weingartner, 98, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020, at her residence. She was born on July 31, 1922 in Moniteau County, the daughter of Jacob John Weingartner and Mary Catherine (Strickfaden) Weingartner, both of whom preceded her in death. Rose was a graduate of California High School. She was a member of the Annunciation Catholic Church in California, Mo. Rose worked as an office manager for a credit bureau in Denver and St. Louis for many years. She loved to travel, go to church picnics, she loved her family and being with them. Survivors include by what she referred to as her Jefferson City family: two nephews, John Grieshammer Jr. of Jefferson City, Mo. and David Grieshammer (Cathy) of Jefferson City, Mo.; two nieces, Mary Pringer (Dale) of Henley, Mo. and Nancy Dusheke of Jefferson City, Mo.; one sister, Marguerite Harvey of Columbia, Mo.; one sister-in-law, Laverne Weingartner of Kirkwood, Mo.; and five generations of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis and Jerome Weingartner; three sisters, Mildred Grieshammer, Mary Ann Bording and Geraldine Johnson. Due to the current pandemic and health and safety concerns, a private family Funeral Mass Of Christian Burial will be held at Annunciation Catholic Church in California, Mo. Officiating will be Father James Finder. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital, c/o the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California, Mo.
