Raymond Bieri, age 67, of California, Mo., passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020. He was born January 23, 1953, in California, Missouri, the son of Ralph and Gertrude (Spring) Bieri. He graduated from California High School in 1971. Raymond was married to Margaret Distler on April 8, 1972, at Annunciation Catholic Church. Raymond worked as a Mechanic for Putnam Chevrolet for 35 years. He was a member of the California United Church of Christ. He was a jack of all trades. He grew up on a farm, where he learned how to make repairs in the field. He loved the Bieri Farm where he grew up and had a passion for Massey Tractors. He loved going to the various events of his children and grandchildren. He loved having breakfast with the guys at Burgher Haus. He never met a stranger. Raymond is survived by his wife, Margaret Bieri; son, Matt (Kristi) Bieri of Higginsville; daughter, Kim (Marty) Martin of Nixa; son, Adam (Tracey) Bieri of California; son, Andy Bieri of California; grandchildren, Mackenzi Martin, Kiley Bieri, Hadley Bieri, Will Bieri, and Sam Bieri; brothers, Henry Bieri, Walt (Jo) Bieri; special nephew, Tim (Lisa) Bieri. Along with his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by a brother, Wallace Bieri, and his son-in-law, Mark Martin. Private Funeral Services were at the California United Church of Christ with Rev. Russell Cobb officiating. Interment followed at Annuciation Catholic Cemetery with Rev. James Finder officiating. Since Raymond was very proud of the educators in his family, memorials are suggested to Margaret Bieri. These funds will be distributed among California FFA, Nixa Band, Odessa Upper Elementary P.E., and Russellville Elementary Schoo Second Grade.
