Martin Mildred (Oidtman)

Martin, Mildred (Oidtman), affectionately known as BeBee, 95, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020, in Tampa, Fla. She was born in Aholt, Mo., but grew up in Jefferson City, one of seven children of Anna (Westhues) and Jule Oidtman. She attended St Peter's grade school and high school and received her Registered Nurse diploma from St Joseph School of Nursing in Booneville. She was proud to be a nurse cadet in World War II and continued her nursing career in several states. Her husband, William Martin, was also from Jefferson City and predeceased her as do her sisters, Frieda Anderson, Nadine Isenberg and Joan Brondell. She is survived by her three children, Tom Martin, Susan Coppin and Jeff Martin, as well as seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Anna Marie Klebba, Jewellrae Bode; brother, Jerome Oidtman and numerous nieces and nephews. She leaves a legacy of love and devotion to her family. Hers was truly a life well lived. A funeral Mass will be held in Tampa with burial at Resurrection Cemetery in Jefferson City in June.
