Brenda Kay Frerking

Brenda Kay (Flippin) Frerking, age 68, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2020, at her home, with her family beside her. She was born November 6, 1951, in California, Mo. to Richard Flippin and Elsie (Hees) Flippin, both of whom preceded her in death. Family was everything to her, and she worked in the cafeteria at Jamestown C-1 School while her children attended there, later she worked at Cargill, and then moved on and retired from the State of Missouri. Brenda truly lived life to the fullest with simple pleasures: gardening, weeding her flower beds, feeding her hummingbirds, spending time with her grandchildren and chatting with friends and family on her deck. She was a member of Main Street Baptist Church. Brenda will be remembered in love by her three children: Kimberly Wolf (Greg), Tipton; Danny Joe Wolfe, Jamestown; and Stacia Wolfe, California, from her first marriage to Danny Wolfe; her grandchildren: Jason Thurman, Kaidan Fortner, Ridge Wolf, Ryker Wolf, Peyton Keeran, Easton Keeran, and Zach Wolfe. She was married to her second husband, Jerry Frerking in 2000. He survives of the home. She welcomed his family as her own with daughters: Jeanette Goodman (Jerry), Jami Homfeld (Wes), all of Higginsville, Justine Julian (Gerald) of Loose Creek, and Julie Rogers (Jeremy) of Oak Grove. They blessed Brenda and Jerry with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brenda leaves behind her siblings: Carolyn Smith (Keith), Daryl Flippin (Kathy), Randy Flippin (Sharon), Cheryl Heischlitz (Klaus), Kevin Flippin (Shelly), all of Jamestown, and Renita Ashley of California. Brenda also leaves behind numerous other family members including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins she loved very much. Funeral Services were held on Monday, February 10, 2020 at Windmill Ridge Funeral Service in California with Rev. Steve Webb and Rev. Clyde Leonard officiating. Interment was held at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Jamestown. At this time memorials are suggested to Kimberly Wolf, c/o Windmill Ridge Funeral Service, PO Box 443, California, MO 65018.
