Gale B. Teeple

.Gale was born on March 7, 1926, to Edgar J. and Gladys M. (Allee) Hays in Latham.Gale graduated from Latham High School and taught school in the one room school, Pleasant Hill Grade School near Latham. Gale later worked for 16 years as a teacher's aide at the Morgan County R-II High School.On July 28, 1944, she married Leonard C. Teeple who died on October 4, 1995. Together they had four children: Diann Holsten (Virgil) of Stover, Lonnie Teeple and Kenny Teeple of Versailles, and Ricky Teeple of Liberty.Gale was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Versailles. She liked to garden, crochet and sew.Gale is survived by her four children; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Maxine Parkes; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.Gale was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 51 years, and a sister, Margaret Robinson.Funeral services were held Saturday, December 28 at the Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Chad Courter officiating.
