Marilyn Kay Dobson

Marilyn Kay (Siebert) Dobson, 78, of Centertown, Mo., passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020, at her home. She was born on May 23, 1941, in Russellville, Mo., the daughter of Oscar Siebert and Laura (Enloe) Siebert, both of whom preceded her in death. Marilyn was a 1959 graduate of Russellville High School. She was a member of the Centertown Baptist Church. Marilyn was united in marriage on April 28, 1961, in Centertown, Mo. to James Dallas "Jim" Dobson who preceded her in death on January 10, 2000. She was employed by the Missouri Department of Revenue from 1973 2003. Marilyn loved the Lord and her family. She was loved by everyone that knew her and her pranks were legendary! Survivors include one daughter, Kimberly Sue Schlup (Kendall) of California, Mo.; two sons, Jeffery Dallas Dobson (Tammy Inman) of Centertown, Mo., James Douglas Dobson (Valerie) of California, Mo.; one brother, Norris Siebert (Linda) of Russellville, Mo.; one sister, Neville Wagner of Centertown, Mo.; two sisters-in-law, Sue Greer of California, Mo., Louise Kramel of Liberty, Mo.; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three step-grandchildren. Marilyn was preceded in death by one nephew, Brad Siebert; and one brother-in-law, Larry Wagner. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at the Centertown Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Stephen Bickel. Burial will be at the Centertown Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Centertown Baptist Church or Goldschmidt Cancer Center Patient Care Fund c/o the funeral home.
