Alma L. Jungmeyer

Alma L. Jungmeyer, 85, of California, Mo., passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2020, at the Tipton Oaks in Tipton, Mo. She was born on September 27, 1934, in Moniteau County, the daughter of Albert Gerlach and Rose (Cook) Gerlach, both of whom preceded her in death. Alma was a graduate of Jamestown High School. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church for many years. Alma was united in marriage on June 5, 1955, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church to Stanley Jungmeyer who preceded her in death on August 23, 2008. She worked at California Manufacturing as a press operator and also worked for Ralston Purina. Alma loved crocheting and giving her work to people, but most of all spending time with her family. Survivors include one daughter, Debbie Pardoe of Latham, Mo.; one son, Robert Jungmeyer of Clarksburg, Mo.; one sister, Ann Derendinger of Jamestown, Mo.; four grandchildren, Craig (Heidi) Pardoe, Megan Pardoe (Miles Sansing), Brandon (Lisa Johnson) Jungmeyer, Bobby (Emily Dills) Jungmeyer; three great- grandchildren, Gracie, Khloe, and Henry. She was preceded in death by one infant son, Jeffrey Jungmeyer; one brother, William Gerlach; and one son-in-law, Butch Pardoe. Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. at Bowlin Cantriel Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Bowlin Cantriel Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Evandro Kopper. Burial will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul's Radio Ministry or Alzheimer's Association c/o the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin Cantriel California, Mo.
