Beverly Ponder

Beverly Ponder, 61, of Eldon, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was born August 18, 1958, in Fayette, Missouri, the daughter of the late Alfred Ewing Bittle and Trellis Allene (Nichols) Bittle. On February 14, 1997, in Miami, Oklahoma, she was united in marriage to Phil Ponder who survives of the home. Beverly was employed with the state of Missouri with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Beverly enjoyed camping, family functions and dearly loved being with her friends. Other survivors include: daughter, ShyAnn Ponder; two sons, Bryan Duncan and Brandon Duncan; grandson, Bronson Duncan; brothers, Delmar Bittle (Mary Jane), Jim Bittle (Francis), Tom Bittle (Mary Helen), Curt Bittle (Laura), Jerry Bittle (Liz); and sister, Ruth Parkes. Her parents; a brother, Larry Bittle; and a brother-in-law, Dennis Parkes preceded her in death. Visitation was held Friday, March 20, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Mo. with the Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Chaplain Jeremy Caudel officiating. Private Family Interment will be held at a later date. Memorials in her name are suggested In Care of the Family. Arrangements were under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Mo.
