Jay "Poppy" Starr

Jay Starr, "Poppy", age 63, passed peacefully on Monday, May 11, 2020, at his home in California. Jay was born in Appanoose County, Iowa, on January 16, 1957, to Robert and Katherine Starr. Jay is survived by wife, Jody; three daughter, Jamie Starr and Kara Starr, both of Iowa, Kelli Hagenhoff (Terry), Russellville; son, Ethan Starr (Brittany), Jefferson City; eight grandchildren; four brothers and two sisters.
