Maude Williams, age 82, of California, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 15, 2020, at California Care Center. She was born February 19, 1938, in Versailles, to Charles and Maggie Brown, who preceded her in death. She was married on July 21, 1958 to Clyde Williams, who also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church and an ordained minister for many years. She was employed at Cargill for 40 years. She never met a stranger and was loved by everyone. She enjoyed life and gardening. Maude is survived by: one son, Ray Williams (Nancy) of Van Buren; four sisters, Mary Mallison, Bonnie Parker, Louise Osborn (Tom), and Lois Brizendine (Dutch), all of California; three brothers, Everett Brown (Sharon) of Hartsburg, Harold Brown (Judy) of California, Joe Brown (Keeley) of Clarksburg; three grandchildren, Amanda Breshears (David) of New Franklin, Christina Williams of Jonesboro, Ark., Jonathan Williams of California; five great-grandchildren, Shelby, Jennifer, Trenton, Westin, and Madison; and several nieces and nephews. Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Viola Stepp; two brothers, Leory Brown and Edward Brown; and a half-brother, Jim Brown. Private graveside services handled by Heartland Cremation will be held at a later date.
