Bradley James Kueffer, 52, of California, Mo., departed this life on Wednesday, November 4, 2020. He was born on July 18, 1968, son of James and Betty (Allee) Kueffer. He was raised in California and was a member of the California High School, Class of '86. Brad then married his wife and best friend, Toni (Creed) Kueffer, on June 29, 1991. Brad was the father of two children and a first-time grandfather-to-be. Over the years, Brad had the opportunity to work alongside some amazing crews. After graduating high school, he began working for Mar-Jim as a bridge painter. In 1991, Brad began Kueffer Welding. After the close of his business, Brad went to work for the Moniteau County Road District. Brad then continued his work in road and bridge construction with Lehman Construction LLC. In the most recent years, Brad managed his farm full time and worked periodically for E&C Bridge and Haile Excavating. Brad took tremendous pride in his Century Farm. He was also very proud of his blue-ribbon garden and sharing his love of hunting and frog-gigging with his kids, nieces and nephews. Brad is survived by wife, Toni; daughter, Jessica Connelly (Austin); son, Jacob Kueffer (Jenna Holterman); mother and father, Jim and Betty Kueffer; siblings, Cheryl Schoenberg (Larry), Cindy Flory (Kurt), Brian Kueffer (Jessica), Christine Huffman (Kevin); and nine nieces and nephews. Brad's unborn grandson is due March 2021 (Bradley Red Connelly). Brad was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. The funeral service was held Monday, November 9 at Windmill Ridge Funeral Service with Rev. Russell Cobb officiating. Interment followed at Evangelical Cemetery in California, Mo. Because of Brad's love of agriculture and the youth, memorials will be given to the California FFA Chapter and the Denker Scholarship.
