Paul Allee, 71, of California, Mo., formerly of High Point, Mo. passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020, at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital. He was born on September 25, 1949, at Latham Sanitarium, the son of Marvin and Edith Lorene (Lotz) Allee, both of whom preceded him in death. Paul was a 1967 graduate of California High School. He was united in marriage on September 28, 1968, at California Annunciation Catholic Church to Mary Sue (Suzy) Meyer. Paul was a lifelong cattle and turkey farmer. He was a member of the High Point Baptist Church where he was an ordained deacon, former brotherhood director, Sunday school teacher, and Awanas leader. He also served on the Board of Directors for Highland Mutual Insurance Company, former board member for the High Point School District where he also coached basketball, former vice president of the Moniteau County Protective Association. Paul enjoyed feeding and taking care of his cattle; gardening, growing and canning vegetables to share with many; spending time with family; attending grandkids sporting events, Jacklyn's softball games and golf cart rides. Paul's favorite times were spent at church, on the farm, being with family and helping others. Paul never met a stranger, loved all kids and was always ready to visit with anyonediscussing his love for Jesus, sports and politics were some of his favorite topics! Paul is survived by one son, Craig Allee (Tammy) of High Point, Mo.; one daughter, Lisa Allee (Kenny Higgins) of California, Mo.; one brother, Norris Allee (Carolyn) of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Edith Hamilton (John) of Hannibal, Mo. and Marlene Wieberg of California, Mo.; mother-in-law, Opal Mae Meyer; two sisters-in-law, Kathy Meyer and Lynne Fulks (Rodney); one brother-in-law, Wayne Meyer; three grandsons, Adam Allee (Cassy), Christopher Allee (Kendra Harwood), Randy C. Allee (Raegan Wiser); two great-granddaughters, Jacklyn Allee and Remney Creach (Dalton); two great-grandsons, Gage Bryant and Kael Bryant; numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by one son, Randy Paul Allee; three sisters, Lois Reine, Carol Maples, Darlene Allee; father-in-law, Charles Meyer; and nephew, Johnathan Brenneke. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, from 9:00 a.m 11:00 a.m at the High Point Baptist Church with funeral to follow at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Heber Mena and Rev. Glen Golden. Burial will be at the High Point Cemetery in High Point. Memorial contributions are suggested to the High Point Baptist Church Awanas Program c/o 40314 Church Road, California, MO. Per CDC guidelines social distancing is suggested and masks are required. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California, Mo.
