Justin L. Trimble

Justin L. Trimble, 43, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. Justin was born on June 14, 1977, in Great Bend, Kan. In 1996, Justin graduated from California High School. Following graduation, Justin enlisted with the United States Marines serving until honorably discharged. Justin married Amanda Borghardt on June 2, 2001, at the California United Church of Christ. Since 2001, Justin was employed with the Missouri Department of Corrections, currently at Tipton Correctional Center. He was a member of the California United Church of Christ. Justin loved fishing, barbecuing, sitting around a fire pit, driveway sitting in his neighborhood, watching Macie and Chase play sports, and just being with family and friends. He could also brighten up the room with his jokes and laughter. He didn't know a stranger. He could be found at his favorite places which were along the baseball field fences cheering on Chase or giving the umpires friendly advice, in the bleachers of Macie's volleyball games, or sitting in the bleachers cheering on Macie and Chase while they played basketball. Justin touched many lives and left footprints on hearts. He will be missed and remembered. Justin is survived by his wife, Amanda Trimble; daughter, Macie Lee Trimble; and son, Chase Alan Trimble, all of the home; mother and step-father, Bonny and Richard Pierson; a brother, Michael Trimble (Shannon Kelly); step-brother, David Pierson; step-brother, Sam Pierson; two step-sisters, Linda Conroy (Chad Taylor) and Lori Scheidt (Earl); parents-in-law, Richard and Debbie Borghardt; sister-in-law, Becky Lawson (Bryan); brother-in-law, Jason Borghardt (Heather); great-uncle and aunt, Bob and Ruth Brizendine; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Trimble; step-brother, Larry Pierson; grandparents, Leland and Lavina Redding and Gilbert and Helen Coon, and long time friend, Travis Butts. Funeral Services for Justin Trimble were held on Saturday, October 24, 2020, at United Church of Christ Sanctuary with Rev. Russell Cobb officiating. Burial with full Military Honors followed at California City Cemetery with Rev. Russell Cobb officiating.
