Simon P. Michael

Simon P. Michael, 51, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City, Mo. He was born on October 13, 1969, in Phoenix, Ariz., the son of Jenny (Ulasien) Coy who survives of the home and Dan Michael of Kansas City, Mo. Simon loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a carpenter/framer and built many houses around the area for many years. He was a cat lover to Charlie, Mr. Punkin, Jill, and Skittles. Simon was a huge Chiefs football fan, and enjoyed fishing, kayaking, floating, camping, playing golf, disc golf, free hand artist and was a very talented woodworker. Survivors include two sons, Skylar Michael of Kansas City, Mo., Seth Michael of High Point, Mo.; one sister, Gretchen "Sissy" Bolinger (Adam) of California, Mo.; one niece, Rubi Bolinger of California, Mo.; and one nephew, Levi Bolinger of California, Mo.; one Uncle, Paul Ulasien (Sherry) of Marana, Ariz. He was preceded in death by stepfathers, Richard Keeran and Russell Coy; maternal grandparents, Paul and Ella Ulasien; paternal grandparents, Gene and Sharon Michael; two aunts, Verena Ulasien, and Rosie Snook. Visitation was held on Tuesday August 3, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m. at Bowlin Cantriel Funeral Home with a Graveside Service immediately following at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Officiating will be Dan Harvey. Memorials are suggested to The Family Of Simon Michael c/o the funeral home. Arrangements were under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services.
