Dorene Kaiser, age 81, of Jamestown, Mo., passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021, at the Moniteau Care Center in California, Mo. She was born January 11, 1940, in the rural area of Cole Camp, Mo., the daughter of Gerhardt and Irene Kaiser, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Smith-Cotton High School in Sedalia, Mo., and as a youth, she was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sedalia. She attended and graduated from junior college at St. Paul's College in Concordia, Mo. She went to attain her teaching degree from Concordia University in Seward, Neb. Dorene had an active career as an educator. She started her teaching career at the parochial school of Good Shepard Lutheran Church, Saginaw, Mich. She later moved back to Missouri and taught at the school of Trinity Lutheran Church, Columbia, Mo. Doreen finished out her teaching career in the Jamestown, Mo. school system as both educator and school librarian. Doreen is survived by two brothers, Delbert (Joyce) Kaiser of Jamestown, Mo. and Kenneth (Shirley) Kaiser of Clinton, Tenn.; one sister, Norma Jean (Randall) George of Belding, Mich.; an aunt, Edna Klindworth of Dickinson, Texas; numerous cousins; and nine nieces and nephews. She was never married and had no children. Private family inurnment will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in California, Mo. at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church-Radio Ministry, where she was an active member prior to her passing.
