Wilma Pearl Meloy, 87, of Latham, Missouri, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021, at her home. She was born on October 3, 1933, in Hendrickson, Missouri, to the late Frank S. and Dorothy (Black) Talley. On May 26, 1953, Wilma was united in marriage to Willard Meloy in Poplar Bluff. She loved to embroidery and make quilts for family and friends. Wilma liked to garden, fish, and family gatherings. She attended church at Main Street Baptist Church in California, Mo. Wilma is survived by her husband of 67 years, Willard; children: Roy Meloy (Pat), Linda McArthur (Patrick), Paul Meloy (Dawn), Wanda Cassil (Steve), Marilyn Zehnle (David). 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Betty Street and infant sister, Violet Talley; and two brothers, David Thompson and Ralph Eugene "Gene" Thompson. Visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at Windmill Ridge Funeral Service. Private family services will be held at a later time.
