Shirley Mae (Clark) Haldiman

Shirley Mae (Clark) Haldiman, of National City, Calif., passed away on August 10, 2020, in San Diego, Calif. She was born on August 28, 1930, in Moline, Ill., daughter of David and Marion (Anderson) Clark, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Martin F. Haldiman, of Jamestown, Mo., on January 3, 1956, in Kansas City, Mo. and moved to the state of California where she spent the remainder of her life. She worked for several medical offices and ended her working career as an educator for a community college. She was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church and the organizations: P.E.O., Beta Sigma Phi, CAMT and CAMA. Shirley loved traveling with her husband, books, cats, and dogs. Shirley Haldiman is survived by her husband, Martin Haldiman, of Jefferson City, Mo.; sons, Randy Haldiman, of Clarksville, Tenn., and Gary (Maribel) Haldiman, of Oak Hills, Calif.; her brother, Robert (Mary) of Windsor, Colo.; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandiec-nieces and grand-nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and David. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021, from 11:30 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. at Bowlin Cantriel Funeral Home with a graveside following at the California City Cemetery. Shirley loved books and libraries. In Lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to your local library. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services.
