Ramona Lynn (Reimler) Miller, passed away on March 16, 2021, at her home in Colorado Springs, Colorado surrounded by her family. This was the culmination of a life well lived and a three and a half year battle with breast cancer. Ramona was born October 2, 1964, in Jefferson City, Missouri to Teddy Gene Reimler and Jane Decima Sexta Porter. She married Grant Miller, who survives at the home, on October 24, 1992, in California, Mo. They have five children: Andrew Miller with wife Lisa and grandson Ernie of Arvada, Colo.; Seth Miller with wife Katie and grandson Beau of Warrensburg, Mo.; Luke Miller of Colorado Springs; Co., Heath Miller of Colorado Springs, Co.; and Carinne Miller of Warrensburg, Mo. She is also survived by her sister, Cecilia Reimler of Jefferson City, Mo. and brother-in-law Ted Miller of Tipton, Mo.. Along with being a devoted stay-at-home mother, Ramona worked various part-time positions including much volunteer work for non-profits including First Baptist Church in Warrensburg. As her children matured she was able to complete her Bachelor's degree and went on to complete a Master's Degree, with honors, in mental health counseling from the University of Central Missouri. In 2017, Ramona and Grant were able to fulfill their shared dream of living near the Rocky Mountains. At the time of her death Ramona was improving other people's lives via her dedicated work at Be Well Counseling Services in Colorado Springs. Ramona loved people, the outdoors, gardening, cooking, the mountains, the beach, and her cat Mr. Frodo. A (post covid) come and go celebration of life is planned at the family home late this summer or early autumn with a similar type event in Warrensburg. Both will be announced via social media and word of mouth. Memorials are suggested to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute or the National Audubon Society.
