Becky Gorman

Becky Gorman, 60, of Jamestown, Mo., passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015, at her residence. She was born February 6, 1955, in Hutchison, Kan., to Edward and Rose (Dority) Carter, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married on April 20, 1973, in Jamestown, Mo., to Bruce Gorman, who survives of the home. She worked for the Federal Government as an Administrative Assistant in the U.S.D.A. She was an avid reader, loved spending time with her grandsons, watching NASCAR, tending to her flowers, and watching science fiction movies. She graduated from California High School in 1973. Becky is survived by: one son, Joel Gorman and wife Alison of Jamestown; one sister, Ellen Coonce of Jamestown; one special niece, Rosella Elgin of Sedalia; two precious grandsons, Jarrett and Connor Gorman of Jamestown; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Melvin Coonce. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, from 5-7 p.m., at the funeral home. Officiating Pastor Russell Cobb. A memorial service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Grandchildren's Education Fund, c/o the funeral home.
