LaVera L. (Clark) Seifert, 91, of Jamestown, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at the California Care Center. She was born on April 7, 1924, to Grover and Lydia (Schull) Clark. On February 24, 1946, she was married to Robert C. (R.C.) Seifert at Clarksburg, Mo., by Rev. Ivan Dameron. R.C. preceded her in death on October 31, 2013. She was a homemaker and farmer. She loved making quilts and attending to her flower garden. She was the longest attendance member of Grace United Methodist Church in Jamestown. She is survived by: one son, Lanny Seifert (Linda) of Hallsville; two daughters, Helen Poehlmann (Edwin) of Jamestown, and Carleen McDonald (Gary) of Centertown; six grandchildren, Ron Poehlmann, Brenton Seifert, Carol Gilpin, Tena Wilson, Cheryl Recker, Ashley Seifert; nine great-grandkids and three great-great-granddaughters; one brother, Gene Clark of Kan.; one sister, Lanore LaVerne Bressler of O'Fallon; sister-in-law, Carla Walters (John) of Owensville; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: one son, Eddie Seifert, and two grandsons, Dale McDonald, Robert Poehlmann. Funeral services will held Sunday, July 5, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church in Jamestown, Mo. Officiating was Rev. Steve Jones. Burial will be at Grace United Methodist Cemetery in Jamestown. Visitation was held on Sunday, July 5, 2015, from 1:30-3 p.m. at the church.
