Nita Faye Reynolds, 91, of Jamestown, Mo., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at California Care Center in California, Mo. She was born August 7, 1924, in Jamestown, Mo., the daughter of Floyd Weisser and Eunice Potter of whom both preceded her in death. She was married to William E. Reynolds on October 2, 1943, at the Linwood Methodist Church in Kansas City, Mo., which was the beginning of 71 years of happy marriage. Bill survives at California Care Center. Nita Faye was a homemaker who also worked at an airplane manufacturing plant during WWII, she worked for the Jamestown School District and was a clerk for Shelter Insurance Company until her retirement. She was also an avid quilter, loved playing cards and dominoes. Nita Faye is survived by: one son, Larry Reynolds and wife Sue Ann of Jamestown, Mo.; and two daughters, Betty Fowler and husband David of Jamestown, Mo. and Joyce Shaul and husband David of Jamestown, Mo. Nita Faye was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 14, 2015, at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home. Officiating is Rev. Steve Jones. Visitation will be held at 3:00-5:00 p.m., on Sunday, September 13, 2015, at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Grace United Methodist Cemetery in Jamestown, Mo. Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers to the Jamestown Methodist Cemetery c/o the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, 100 S. Oak St. California, Mo. 65018.
