Carolyn Sue Allen

Carolyn Sue Lunceford Allen, 71, of Centertown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at her home after fighting a short battle with cancer. She was born on June 5, 1947 in Mexico, Mo. to Robert P. and Betty Jean Robley Rouse, both of whom preceded her in death. In 1964 she graduated from Mexico High School. On June 25, 1965 she was married to Larry Otis Lunceford of Mexico, who preceded her in death September 7, 2002. In August of 1990 Carol was married to Terry Allen, who survives of the home. Carolyn worked for the Department of Corrections in office management with payroll. She loved gardening, fishing and her dogs. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She attended New Hope Baptist Church near Centertown. Along with Terry, Carol is survived by: two sons, Jeff Lunceford (Shelia) of Centertown and Shawn Lunceford (Julie) of Henley; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two uncles, Glen Robley of Mexico and Richard Robley (Charlene) of Lebanon. Carol will be dearly missed by all that know her. Services will be private. At Carol's request memorials are suggested to New Hope Baptist Church, Centertown, Mo.
