Mary Lou Jackson

Mary Lou Jackson, 82, of California, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Moniteau Care Center in California. She was born on September 18, 1939, in Evansville, Indiana to Roland and Bertha Pauline (Tooley) Thene, who preceded her in death. She worked for many years as a Bank Teller at Central Bank, Main Bank in California before her retirement in 1996. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Red Hat Society in California and a volunteer with the California Nutrition Center. Mary Lou is survived by one daughter: Sarah (John Hargis) Turner of Jamestown; four grandchildren: Shane (Amanda) Turner of Jamestown, Matthew (Adraine) Turner of Dasonville, Georgia; Mackenzie Hargis of Columbia and Zachary Hargis of Jamestown; seven great-grandchildren: Trinity, Braxton, Kinley, Carter, Kaitlyn, Dominic and Autumn. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the California United Methodist Church.
