Helen Dorothy Holliday, age 90, of Tipton, Missouri, gained her angel wings November 5, 2021, at Capital Region Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 20, 1930, the daughter of Arthur and Lola (Scott) Ernst. She married the love of her life, Arthur Lewis Holliday Jr. on June 23, 1948, and they enjoyed over 63 years of marriage. Helen was a very compassionate woman who was always willing to help others. Her family meant the world to her. She always told anyone she met about her family, especially her 13 great-grandchildren, 11 of which are boys and her twin granddaughters. She was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church where she served as treasurer until a few months ago. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Hickam of Tipton; a son, David Holliday (Schatzie) of Warsaw; a son-in-law, Alfred Cook of Harrisburg; grandchildren, David Holliday II (Holly), sons David III (Tre'), Griffin, and Gage; Christie Holliday, sons Darrin, Mike, and Blake; Missy Smith (Vic), sons Aaron, Aidan, Austin; Jim Cook (Rhonda), son Brady; Johanna Cox, son James, and daughters Brett and Briar. She is also survived by one brother, Arthur Ernst (Jane); five sisters, Hazel Brown, Margret Frieling, Phyllis Williams (Paul), Maxine Overcast, Donna Gibson; and sister-in-law, Gracie Ernst. She was proceeded by her parents; her husband, Art in 2012; daughter, Sandy Cook; grandson, Kenny Joe Neumann; brothers, Richard and Armon Ernst; sister, Mary Hundley; sons-in-law, Kenneth Neumann, John Brumett, and Hubert Hickam. Helen's celebration of life will be held November 20, at Pisgah Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. Reverend Terry Barnett will be officiating.
