Sandra (Sandy) Keniston

Sandra (Sandy) Keniston, 64, of California, Mo., passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. She was born on March 14, 1957 in Mexico, Mo., the daughter of Loys Meyer and Lela (Barnes), both of whom preceded her in death. Sandy was an area manager for the Dollar General Corporation for many years and then served as a cook at Nic-Nac Café for 14 years. She enjoyed puzzles, fishing, playing cards, being around family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Maupin (Robert II) of Fulton, Mo.; two sisters, Janet Uplinger of Sedalia, Mo., Patricia Meadows, state of Colorado; four brothers, Rick Meyer and Carl Meyer, both of California, Mo., Roger Meyer and James Meyer, both of Williamsburg, Mo.; and two grandsons, Steven Frazee and Joshua Frazee. She was preceded in death by a sister, Rhonda Mulanax, and three brothers, Freddie Meyer, Michael Meyer and Jerry Meyer. A memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California, Mo. Officiating will be Bro. Stephen Bickel. Inurnment at a later date will be at Hickman Cemetery near Clarksburg. Memorials are suggested to Michelle Maupin, c/o the funeral home.
