Description
Imagine chef/co-owner Adam Rosenblum has created imaginative dishes for lunch (for example, a ham, brie, spinach and apple sandwich with apple vinaigrette) and dinner (peppered lamb loin with potato medley hash and ratatouille, finished with bell pepper coulis).
He's been a little more conservative with his three-course, $22 prix fixe brunch, however. The "middle" (entree) portion leans a little heavily toward the breakfast side - Belgian waffles, traditional eggs Benedict, du-jour omelets - while the "beginning" and "end" are more lunch-like.
You don't have to do the prix fixe; all the menu items are available a la carte with sides of hash, grits or toast. And, according to the menu, the kitchen also takes requests.
The menu changes slightly from week to week. The delicious fat-free yogurt with toasted granola and fruit we sampled on our first visit was organic yogurt with toasted granola and fruit by our second. A starter salad made with balsamic vinaigrette, heirloom Arkansas cherry tomatoes and Pecorino cheese came first with mixed greens and later spinach. --Eric Harrison
