Historical Society to meet Monday, April 11

The Moniteau County Historical Society will meet at the Cultural Heritage Center meeting room at 7:30 p.m. on April 11. Spring is here and the Museum and Genealogy Library will be open beginning in April. The genealogy library is open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. The museum is free and is open from 1 to 3 p.m. on the second and fourth Sundays (except Easter) of each month. Some displays on the second floor are new and provide some added interest. Reservations for tours of 5 or more people may be scheduled for other times. Contact Carole Schroeder, 796-2250

Moniteau County is fortunate to have such a storehouse of information available to those seeking family histories along with helpful volunteers who are ready to assist anyone with their search.
