Jamestown Junior High Academic Teams Earn Top Spots in Competition

Two Jamestown Junior High academic teams, the Junior High Math Team and Scholar Bowl Team, both took first place in recent tournaments. The Jamestown CCAA Junior High Math Team, sponsored by teacher Kim Hardwick, took first place at the CCAA Junior High Math Contest March 14 at Higbee. Jamestown competed against Bunceton, Higbee, Malta Bend, Otterville, Pilot Grove and Prairie Home. Each student takes a 40-minute test of 20 multiple-choice questions.
