Parade Helps Start Activities at 145th Annual Moniteau County Fair

One of the Moniteau County Fair kickoff events was the annual parade held Saturday, July 30, which had plenty of participants including the contestants for this year's Miss Moniteau, 2010 Miss Moniteau Tabatha Hoback, 2010 Little Mr. and Mrs. Moniteau Karson McKinney and Camryn Wingate, local businesses, the California Fire Department, both the California City Police and Moniteau County Sheriff's Departments, California Area Chamber of Commerce, Grand Marshal Cletus and Miriam Koerner, the California Pinto Band, veterans, members of local organizations, schools and preschools along with residents driving or riding tractors, horses, motorcycles and autos.

Winners of the float contest were; Peoples Bank of Moniteau County (1st), The Nic Nac Cafe (2nd) and Clarksburg School (3rd).
