Cowboy challenge is new, poultry show expanded

The Moniteau County Fair includes many of the old favorites, such as a rodeo, demolition derby, Tuff Truck and tractor pull.

Also back again this year is the Cruise-In car show after the parade on Saturday. It will be at the fairgrounds.

A new event, the Cowboy Action Challenge, at the fair this year is actually on Saturday, July 30. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the show to begin at 10 a.m.

Admission is free to the Moniteau County Farm Bureau sponsored event. There are two divisions — Youth (15 and under) $10 entry fee; and Open (all competitors) $20 entry fee.
