Leisa Hees, Clean Up Crew Relay for Life member and coordinator for the Ninth Annual Clean Up Crew Pitch Tournament, said a record 48 teams made it out to help support the event held Saturday, March 12 at the Jamestown Community Building.

"This is our ninth year hosting the tournament and 10th year relaying for life," Hees said. "The pitch tournament has been a good fundraiser for us and has grown each year. Last year was our best year up to that point and we were not ready, this year was even bigger and we were more prepared. It is so exciting to see this many people enthused about helping us out. It makes me cry."
